Snowmass Summers
|
With a name like Snowmass, you might think we’re
snowbound all year long. You may be picturing deep
powder, magnificent Colorado snow-capped peaks, and
perfect sledding days with the kids.
You wouldn’t be wrong, of course, but the winter scene
is simply part of the Snowmass story
|

Snowmass Village,
Colorado |
|
Each spring Snowmass’ namesake precipitation melts away to
uncover a verdant landscape of adventure and rejuvenation.
Surrounded by a spectacular wilderness area, Snowmass summer
activities range from fly fishing and golf to mountainboarding,
hot air ballooning, over 40 miles of mountain trails, and one of
the best free music scenes in the state.
While the first half
of our name may refer to the winters, the second half also
describes the summers. It’s no coincidence that “mass” is
synonymous with “magnitude” and “substance.”
